Dear Ashley,

We wanted to let you know how much we really enjoyed our time in Paris. The B&B that you placed us in Paris was everything that you said it would be. As travel agents, we researched your company and compared with other B&B's before choosing to try your company.

Our host, Janine was very pleasant and answered any quations that we had. The neighborhood was safe  and the bus stops were a block away.

Again, thank you for your assistance in placing us in a nice home. We will never forget the wonderful memories we have of France!

Sincerely,

Ray & Nancy Fassbender,

Bon Jour,

Just wanted to let you know I had a wonderful time staying with Catherine in Paris. Her home is even more elegant than in your pictures and she is completely charming!

I also had a good experience with the airport shuttle which took me from the airport to the B&B and picked me up there for the return flight. It is called the Blue Van Paris Shuttle and is $22 each way for a single ($18 per person, I believe, for more than one). The number to call for reservations from the U.S. is 888-426-2705, and the number to call in Paris is 0800 BLU VAN (505-610).

Thanks for your help in making this such a good trip. I'll get in touch with you for my next trip too and have recommended you to several friends.

Sincerely,

We had a wonderful time in Paris. (# P530) She is a very friendly and hospitable hostess. She made us feel very welcome and we enjoyed our stay in her house. The best aspect is definately the view that the guest room has.

Dear Sirs:

Thank you for a wonderful stay at your room near the Gare de Lyon in Paris, France. At a time when most reasonable hotels were booked in Paris, this little room was my last resort. After staying there, however, it would certainly become my first choice for a charming Parisian stay. It was clean, quiet, and right in the center of a very interesting area.

For anyone who has not visited this area recently, I recommend the Viaduct gardens and some of the trendier, 'artsy' cafes along the viaduct. Favorites include Chez Charley, the Blue Train and the Viaduct Café. Also, Gare de Lyon provides a direct line right to the heart of Disneyland Paris.

Mme. Claude was very helpful in providing directions and hailing a cab. Her breakfasts were provided promptly and with finesse. Most importantly, I came away from this week of travel with greatly improved French. Mme Claude understands how to speak French at a speed and level conducive to pleasant conversation without becoming impatient with, or overly confusing to, her interlocutor.

I would be happy to recommend this service to your future customers. Good luck with your business!

Sincerely,

Laurie Harrison,

I just wanted to let you know that we are now back in London following our recent visit to Paris and other parts of Europe.

Paris as always was beautiful as was the weather - although a little humid. Your apartment was excellent if rather basic although its clean condition and wonderful position in relation to the shops, Metro and the center of the city more than compensated for this and any other minor quibbles we might have had. The caretaker was very pleasant and helpful and all in all we have nothing but praise for your organization. We will certainly try to use you again and there can't be better recommendation than that.
Thanks again,

Sincerely,

In honor of my niece's graduation from high school we planned a trip for the two of us to France. Jennifer, my niece, decided she would like to spend her time in France exploring Paris. I am a flight attendant so arranging transportation to and from Paris was simple. But, where to stay? In a hotel? No, that would be too much like being at work. My husband came to the rescue. He assessed the Internet and found Paris B&B.

There were many places to choose from, but our criteria of two beds helped narrow the choices. As the date of our departure drew closer, I wondered what the experience of staying in a private residence would be. I admit I was nervous. I had planned this trip for a long time and wanted very much for Jennifer to enjoy our visit.

After arriving at CDG, we took the train to Paris and began searching for the address. (Hint: As was recommended by Paris B&B, take a taxi when hauling luggage.) Upon arriving at the building our host, Mr. V., greeted us most graciously.

The building emanated a sense of timelessness. One could easily forget which century it is. Luckily for us it is the 20th century and our room was equipped with modern conveniences (bath, refrigerator, electric appliances, phone etc..) We had everything we needed to eat in if we chose. It was Jennifer's first trip outside the US and it was my first trip to Europe "on my own". We had many questions and much to discover. It was reassuring to know our hosts were available and willing to assist us with our plans. They were more helpful and informative than I could have hoped. The thoughtful touches such as the fresh flowers and fruit in our room when we arrived made us feel welcomed. Our entire experience with our host couple was as if we'd been invited guests. One of the most amazing aspects of our stay was the security. Never before have I been able to leave my valuables in a room and feel 100% assured they would be there when I returned. It was wonderful.

This letter only begins to express my satisfaction with our stay. Jennifer and I will treasure always the time spent together in Paris in large part due to the friendliness and warmth of our hosts. I will be sending copies of this letter to my friends to share with them the wonderful time we had in Paris.

Thank you US B&B (Paris B&B)

Sincerely, Toni Halle

We loved Paris and your B&B and we will return as soon and as often as we can. The B&B was charming with fresh flowers. The food was delicious, the hosts were knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. The B&B was very well supplied. It was exquisite - white linen table cloths and napkins and to top it all, hot French bread daily. Wonderful location too!

Our next overseas holiday is planned for New Zealand but when we do come back to Europe, we will stay in B&B's. They are wonderful! The apartment we stayed in was very clean and neat and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was wonderful. We received fresh croissants, pastries, orange juice, yogurt and choice of coffee and tea daily.

What we enjoyed the most was talking to our hostess, sharing information about cultural differences and receiving suggestions on places to visit while in Paris. The hostess was extremely hospitable and friendly. She provided numerous data to us - maps, metro & bus information, tourist sites, airport transportation and more. She made us feel very welcome.

I just thought you might like some comments on the Paris home that I stayed in recently.

I stayed at the M. home on Rue Las Cases and it was great. The host was much as you described in your literature. Helpful and accommodating at all times. Her English is excellent and so is her husband's. She has traveled quite a bit in the USA so she knows much more than just textbook phrases - never a communication problem. Her husband provided me with Metro and RER directions, some even detailed written directions, for various places around Paris. He also provided me with some Paris Air Show information. Their daughter has been to a lot of the local restaurants and had the good ones marked, along with notes, in a bistro guide book that I used every night.

This has to be one of the best locations in all of Paris for tourists. I bought a packet of ten Metro tickets on arriving and used very few - even gave some of the leftover ones to the M. family when I left. It was hardly worth the trouble to take the Metro although I may walk more than some might. It is just a short walk to the Latin Quarter, the Musee d'Orsay and the Seine. A little more of a walk to the Eiffel Tower, Place de la Concorde, the Louvre and other sights. If you insist on the Metro, Solferino, line 12, is the closest stop but two more close stops on different lines.

The bread and croissants for breakfast were great but my favorite breakfast item was her homemade pear jam. I just loved it - and I don't like pears! I would never have guessed it was pear if she had not told me.

There are a few problems with your directions on getting to the home. I have outlined those on the next page along with my suggestions on how to correct them.

As I said, it was a great time that I will never forget. I would definitely stay there again.

Yours truly,

Paul Phipps
